This is a piece of irradiated citrine with beautiful phantom bandings. Best of all, it has hollandite fluff-balls in it!
Hollandite is quite a boring mineral, in its natural form. BUTTTTT, when it is surrounded by quartz, all that heat and pressure causes hollandite to POP into adorable little fluffy stars 🤩🌟🌟🌟
And it's stuff like that that makes me enjoy this hobby because it is absolutely fascinating!
