Secondary Crystallisation of Rose-Blush Hematite Quartz & Green Fluorite cubes on Tabular Barite (Dörfel Quarry, Dörfel, Schlettau, Annaberg-Buchholz Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany) - 0224-FQB-G2

SGD 122.00
Only 1 available

This specimen comprises of clusters of tabular barite growing in a criss-cross fashion.

Upon it is a light sprinkling of secondary crystallised fine, druzy quartz with red hematite in parts.

The star of the show is the generous - really generous - green fluorite cubes all over the specimen. Some of them are dusted with red hematite, given it varying dimensions. And on the underside are bands of yellow fluorite too.

It is structural and beautiful, and definitely a piece worthy of display! And it is quite rare - I've been doing a lot of research but I can't find a piece from this locale with every single one of these elements together.
