🌈Rainbow's End 🌈 Fluorite (Lady Annabella Mine, Eastgate, Weardale, Co Durham, UK)
67x61x42mm
Discovered in September 2022, the Rainbow's End pocket is the final pocket of the Lady Annabella mine in County Durham, UK. This pocket has a beautiful color-changing fluorescence in the sunlight, changing to light blue and purple with magnificent zoning throughout the fluorite.
Rainbow's End was first found in September 2022. The miners kept it a secret until end of last year. It made its debut in Tucson Gem Show 2024 and was one of the only places to get this stunning pocket.
If you like closed mine stuff, this is the very last fluorite from the now closed Lady Annabella Mine.
We got a few with the intention of keeping them for ourselves because they were so difficult to get hold of, but have decided to release one.
