Discovered by accident in 2008, Polychrome Jasper was found when miners were looking for a new seam of Ocean Jasper. The terrain in which it is found is quite difficult terrain, and so must be hand dug.

The more common colours are pinks, browns, reds and tans, whilst blues and teals are more rare.
