Clear Glassy Fluorite from Pakistan with Calcite (Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan) - PKFL6
90mm x 76mm x 28mm; 265g - (Mike the Mighty Miner for scale)
Aside from the gentle lilac colors or the deep blues and violets found in Pakistan Fluorite, we also find a lot of these amazingly clear, glassy fluorites as well! They usually come together with Calcite, which is a common mineral in the area, and we see that here where the yellow Calcite is growing in between the fluorite cubes, like plants growing in between buildings. The fluorite itself has lovely digital growth patterns on the faces.
