This stunning specimen - I cannot believe we're letting this go. ðŸ˜
It comes by many names - pagoda calcite, poker chip calcite, Benz calcite (because it looks like a Mercedes Benz logo) and Lingzhi Calcite (because it is the same shape as a lingzhi mushroom).
In this particular specimen though, it is definitely more lingzhi than anything. just look at how the mini ones grow in the shadow of the larger flattened rhombohedrals! They are like baby mushrooms growing on a tree!!
They are clear, but with the slightest hint of red hematite in parts and is such a stunning, statement piece.
And, it is UV-Reactive!
