Moldavite is a tektite/impactite that was formed when a meteorite crash-landed between Southern Germany and the Czech Republic about 15 million years ago. Upon impact, the heat energy of the site was so high that it immediately melted the silica in the area. As these blobs of melted silica were flung away, they cooled into these green glass pieces.

Yes, Moldavite is a type of natural glass. It is not a meteorite - a common misconception. During the COVID pandemic, the prices of Moldavite skyrocketed because the Czech government has banned public mining (there are next to no more left in Germany). Only certain people have been granted the right to mine there. This state of affairs has remained ever since.

This is why there are so many fakes coming out of the Chinese market. They've even taken to making them in bright blue, lemon yellow, and fire house red LOL!

If you're a young/new energy practitioner - do be careful.

The energies of moldavite are allegedly so powerful, that many end up getting headaches or falling sick from trying.

If you don't believe in crystal energies but love it for its uniqueness and increasing rarity, these are a great addition to your collection.

For every $15 spent, we will plant 1 tree to offset the carbon cost of mining, shipping and packaging crystals. These are real and natural products, and so might have some flaws or imperfections. We have done our best to pick the best pieces available, but nature is often imperfectly perfect. Therefore, please only make the purchase if you are alright with this.
