SGD 85.00
Only 1 available

There are a few famous Spanish fluorite sites such as Asturias and Moscona (Moscona is actually one of the mining sites in the Asturias region).

The Moscona mine is famous for its beautiful lustrous and glassy yellow fluorites that blanket the matrix with small yellow cubes, often found with white Calcite. Fun fact: The Moscona Mine actually contains 15 different mineral species, including fluorite, barite, dolomite, calcite, anglesite, quartz, sphalerite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, cinnabar, tetrahedrite, carbonates such as azurite and malachite, and the least common being aurichalcite.

And the Fluorites are found in a layer of rock that is dated to the Permian–Triassic era, which is about 252 million years ago.

83mm x 63mm x 16mm 86.7g

The larger of the 2 pieces, the fluorite is also darker and more gemmy in areas. There's a cluster of Dolomite growing on the back.
