Ojuela Fluorite with Malachite (Ojuela Mine, Mapiimi, Durango, Mexico) - 0324_OF_M1
These dark, violet fluorites are UV-reactive, but unusually so. They shift from a rich purple to a bright, fuschia when put under UV-light, similar to that of Ruby.
Whilst the Ojuela mine has many pockets, they tend to be very small ones, each only producing a few specimens at a time. Furthermore, fluorites, in general, are unusual in the locale.
