Iridescent Erongo Fluorite with Black Tourmaline, Gold Muscovite Mica & Hyalite Opal (Erongo Mountain, Erongo, Namibia)
We've brought in Erongo fluorite many times before, and we've brought in iridescent fluorite from Pakistan before, but this is the first time we've managed to get hold of Iridescent Erongo Fluorite.
Blue Iridescence too! Normally, what we get is gold in colour.
The fluorites are modified octahedrons in shape, and many of them have dark yellow-brown phantom cores too.
The specimen is also generously sprinkled with sheets and sheets of gold muscovite mica. And lots and lots of black tourmaline spears.
And, under UV light, the druzy hyalite opal over parts of the specimen react a mystical neon green.
